CIVIC PROJECTS SUPPORT
As part of our mission, the Worcester Garden Club provides funding for civic projects which align with our purpose. Please read our Purposes and Application Guidelines below. If you believe you are a good candidate, please download and complete our civic projects application.

Purposes of the Worcester Garden Club:

​To promote the knowledge and appreciation of gardening, horticulture, flower arranging, and all phases of conservation;

To educate the community in the art of gardening, in the science of horticulture and in the conservation of all our national and local resources;

To encourage and develop civic planting throughout Worcester County.

Civic Project Application Guidelines:

Timeline: Applications must be received by March 1.

Applications presented and voted on at March meeting.

Notification made to applicants soon after the vote.

Funding available by April 30.

Any organization requesting funding will provide their 501c3 tax exempt identification number if applicable.

Organizations applying for funding may apply for funding for two (2) consecutive years and may re-apply after a one year hiatus.

Organizations approved for funding agree to provide a written report with photos to the Club within one year from the date of application. In some instances an organization may be invited to personally present a follow-up visit highlighting the successful completion of the project.
